I blame the coaching staff for having them kneel down on one knee trying to steal the low strike. In that position the catcher has a lot less range of motion. With the ABS challenge there isn’t any need to try and steal strikes. It’s obvious that it’s not working defensively.

This is true. Both runs are by rule earned runs but both could have been avoided with better defense.

That is certainly a strange pinch runner move. Valesquez for Herrera. What is the gain there.

Feel like they are messing with his approach. He keeps taking first pitch strikes and then swings at one high and tight. Too bad we don’t have a better hitting coach and overall approach.
