PCA - to drill or not to drill?

Post by Cardinals4Life »

That is the question......

After that disrespectful bat flip in the 10th and hos overall arrogant behavior the real question is when, not if. Right?

Let's hear your thoughts.

It’s a different mentality in 2026. He’s not getting hit.

Grow up?
How about you get a clue?
Showing emotion completely different than showing up.

Again, he can choose to show whatever emotion he wants. Those emotions should have consequences.

Yeah, players don't have that competitive/macho fight.in them any more. The game has definitely gotten soft.

I liked the pallante striking him out I beat you I’m better than you at bat more than a hitting him and showing him yes you’re better than us so we will have a tantrum and hit you at bat. Although Pallante should have yelled sit down boy to him

Have you ever watched a baseball game played in the Caribbean or Latin America? Fans bring band instruments into the stadium. All the popular players have their own cheering sections. There are banners all over the stadium. Players hot dog and show off all the time. Its just part of the game. I'm fine with that emotion and fire creeping into the US game.

It's fine to show emotion. It's also fine to plunk a guy who is becoming the face of a rival.

I've been watching the Cardinals since the 70s and I get the "old school / unwritten rule stuff"; but I've found I really don't care anymore. He was excited and yeah he's a bit of an (donkey); but so what? I've got better things to worry about that us going the Tony/Dusty route over it. Just my two cents.

I don't give a hoot about the bat flip- but it's never a bad day to drill PCA.
