Cardinals Teens Hernández and Lebrón to Make Full-Season Debuts

The St. Louis Cardinals have promoted two more teen rookie-ball standouts to full-season ball for the first time, Miguel Hernández and Cristofer Lebrón.
The duo join pitchers Keiverson Ramirez and Gabriel Chinchilla plus catcher Juan Pablo Cabrera, all who moved upward from the now concluded Florida Complex League to Palm Beach in recent days.
Also, a Beach Birds outfielder returns to the injured list.

Hernández had a strong first US season, tied for fourth in the 15-team FCL with nine home runs and seventh with 38 RBI. He was 11th in OBP at .435, fifth in slugging percentage at .534 and fourth in OPS at .969. The 18-year-old topped all FCL Cardinals in these categories.
Hernández, who hails from Venezuela, is The Cardinal Nation’s 46th ranked prospect.
In 2026, Lebrón, 19, was first on the FCL Cardinals squad in batting average (.289), doubles (13) and stolen bases (18 of 22).
He was second to Hernández among FCL Cardinals regulars in home runs (six, tied), fourth in OBP (.365) and slugging (.484) and third in OPS (.839).
Lebrón is The Cardinal Nation’s 49th ranked prospect.
