Well his 3 year history was before the new front office really took control and before his breakout. And he’s had slumps this year, he had a 13 game slump in June (.512 OPS June 14-June 30) worse than the post AS break (.557 OPS) slump and he came out of that with flying colors (1.116 OPS from July 1st-July 12). Hitters go through streaks, it happens to even the best hitters.
13 games from April 14-29: .560 OPS 0 HR
10 games from May 25-June 5: .618 OPS 0 HR
Both “slumps” he came out of fine. Along with the other one. And this one will probably be similar.

McGreevy's stuff plays as about a No. 4 on a contender. That has value, but more value than Walker? And by what measure is Burly a better hitter than Walker?
