Walker- Over/Under Home Runs
Good morning.
Everybody likes a good guessing game.
Many said this team ran the way Walker did. They may be right. Complete team power outage. Walker last 15 games- zero homeruns.
What was a pretty much given, 30 plus home runs, now becomes a bit of a distant ships smoke on the horizon.
At this rate, 26 ish home runs. And just four for the month of July in 90 AB.
So I set the o/U at 29.5
Too high.

I’ll take the over. There are two months left in the season. Even if he copied your “only” 4 HRs in July for each of the next 2 months that is 30 HRs for the season.
30 HR pace is 5 HRs per month for 6 months.

As you once noted i believe, this power outage started before the AS break. It started those three games with Atlanta.

Sure, but he went 3 for 10 with 3 runs and a RBI in that series, too. He’s slumping a bit, he’s slumped before. He’ll be fine. I don’t like the lineup change they made. I liked him better hitting 4th.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑29 Jul 2026 09:42 amAs you once noted i believe, this power outage started before the AS break. It started those three games with Atlanta.
I think he’ll clear 30 HRs. And he’ll probably finish with close to 35 doubles.

28 HR
105 RBI
.285 Avg.
Pretty darn good season for 24 years old. But he needs to moved back to cleanup.

Well he is hitting for average, just not power. So it’s something else. I think your point is extremely pointed and valid, hitting number two.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑29 Jul 2026 09:58 amSure, but he went 3 for 10 with 3 runs and a RBI in that series, too. Re: Walker- Over/Under Home Runs
He is currently hitting for your average, near about. There is no issue. The problem for him reference rbis is, there is no one on base, and if so, the lack of power limits the bases a runner can take.
Hes getting singles, many, but few runs and runners.

Re: Walker- Over/Under Home Runs
Walker has yet to have an amazing series where he blasts 3 of 4 in a couple games. 40 is still doable. Anything less than 35 would be surprising to me.

Definitely under. He’s regressed again to his 2025 form.sikeston bulldog2 wrote: ↑29 Jul 2026 09:33 am Good morning.

I think he goes under. Here’s a trivia question- has the home run derby champ not hit another regular season home run.

This. Oli tweaked things for no reason and the rest of the team is in the crapper.Futuregm2 wrote: ↑29 Jul 2026 09:58 amSure, but he went 3 for 10 with 3 runs and a RBI in that series, too.
