I thick the bullpen imploding destroyed morale.

I also think Oli doesn't have the leadership skills required to keep this kind of group better focused.

I also doubt he will be able to be a true leader of men when hopefully this club has a. Strong winning core filled guys in their late 20s and early 30s.

During TLR era the team could bring in higher skilled failed veterans and veterans coming off multiple down years abs injuries.

Like May is a guy that would have reached his peak with us under TLR.

I don't see eve cardinals being a 90 game winner any time soon because you need a half dozen potential young starter studs and at least 2 or 3 of them have to become above average with 2 of them reaching #1 or #2 status. We apparently don't have anyone even ready to try.

May and Libby will have to be replaced.

And there is no guarebtee the other 3 starters won't regress.

This is a huge problem. I think our talent is very overrated as far as having young rookies who will come up and be .800 ops guys who bat over.250.

Do you have the specifics, TX?

I'm not doubting you, I just asked in an earlier post that I would like some context before I form an opinion on the quote.

Oh so they all agree they share responsibility in how the post trade line looks you kind of left that part out lol I’m not surprised you left that part out it kind of kills your argument

Maybe if Mase didn't suck all year, we wouldn't be in this position.
He's not wrong though. The plan from day one was to lose. That the team achieved higher achievements is almost shocking. They gutted this team and the plan is to keep gutting it. It would not surprise me at all to see them trade Winn or Walker.

Imagine “NEEDING” to block a poster on an anonymous baseball forum……because someone can’t help themselves from opening their posts……..and then reading them…….
I won’t read ……I won’t read it……I won’t read it…..oh heck I can’t help myself from opening and reading…..I must block the poster.
Then let everyone know I’ve blocked the poster as I’m still purposely in the thread that the blocked poster originated
I swear some of you must be on meds and 24hr monitoring.

So if you don’t plan to win……let the world know that players who have been instrumental in winning will be traded……no supplementation of talent will be added…..and the “plan” is winning some date years away…..what exactly are you doing??? The only outcome other than WINNING is LOSING

Where did they say they were trading them? Where did they say they wouldn’t add talent? All I read is they they wouldn’t sacrifice long term success that doesn’t mean they are selling you’re all making things up

So you believe Bloom won’t trade starters at this years trade deadline? And that one of those starters must be spending too much time on CT and has been brainwashed for telling a reporter such nonsense…..

EVERY player in MLB knows their team is likely looking to make moves this time of the year and aren't pouting about it.

If you’re a player do you want the team to add talent to help win the remainder of season or trade the players who have been instrumental in winning.
This attitude that Cards players on this current are just fine going through the motions for 2-3 more years when the magical time comes when BDW might start spending money and Bloom Farm might start fielding Allstars on the MLB team is ridiculous. What does that plan do for the players currently on the field who were keeping the club in contention? NOTHING

Maybe Bloom is evaluating who brings that attitude and who whines and gives up
Absolutely, worked for Jake Taylor and the Cleveland Indians

More needs to be said about BDWJr going as cheap as he has and destroying this franchise. :x

No one thinks the rebuild will be 3-4 years.
