JDW, I would much rather settle my grievances with that individual through dms. But the coward will send one and block responses. This all began when I called him out for being a jerk to other posters. He has continued to be true to form. I apologize for the aggravation others have endured.JDW wrote: ↑28 Jul 2026 07:30 am Gee whiz guys, get a room and quit this nonsense in threads. Send private messages to each other, whatever.
As the planet trends toward hotter, with each new year setting heat records, about 130 heat index is where the human limit to exist in before major issues arrive. Around the World, there has already been some human migration out of places where it's gotten too hot. Also an island had to be left as sea level rise made it unhabitable. Just the start I'm afraid.
Anyway, I heard Horton say the heat index was 123 during Sundays game. I think a Reds player had to leave the game b/c of weather related issues. It wouldn't be hard to think many people didn't even consider going to the game that might have otherwise.
The current stadium isn't close to it's life expectancy (20 years old) I wouldn't think. To think only new construction could incorporate the retractable roof reasonably is probably correct, but guess I don't know that for sure ...................
Wait, a giant tarp, red of course, Busch could also host circuses. Bring back the elephants, the high wire acts, talking donkeys ........ oops, wrong venue.
