Helluva way to kill a potential rally.

...I'm "barely" optimistic. I picked them to finish 82-80 this season, but they will have to play better than they have since the AS game if that happens.MIDMOBIRDTWO wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 22:10 pmWish I had your optimism cbcloud. It is hard for a team of rookies to mesh quickly, especially when players are switched in and out, not batting regularly, and playing different positions many games. The only 2 rookies who have had consistent play at the same position is JJ and Church. I know management is trying to "catch lightning in a bottle," but I think that hurts as much or more than it helps...

Thankee kindly. I could use some spirits to lift. Fresh out of beer, can’t get to my wine in the kitchen without waking the pup and the cork broke off of my fifth of Old Tub. It’s enough to peace off the Good Humor Man.spfldan wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 22:16 pmgot some good one liners sir. If Winn could just keep this mindset of hitting up the middle or going the other way.

Ownership deserted this team just like it did its customers, the fans. I refuse to believe anything they say. I am from Missouri. You have got to show me.cbcloud wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 22:20 pm...I'm "barely" optimistic.
