Well Mrs. Thompson and you would make 2 people due to his missing paycheck. Unless you are Mrs. Thompson then it would be back to 1. Just kidding I am sure there are others who like corn sweats and broccoli jokes on air. (bleep) there are some geniuses in Cards Talk. You read my mind. Sometimes less is moreCardinals1964 wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 21:59 pmWhat parts do you enjoy the most? I don’t care what movie he went to last week. And nobody cares about you, (donkey)(pit). Good grief. The poster expressed an opinion. And true to form, you have to be a jerk. Go eat a (bleep) sandwich.Cardinals1964 wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 21:59 pmWhat parts do you enjoy the most? His movie critiques, his family Barbeque stories, Legos stories, color of Chip’s socks stories? Do the games still air on the Audacy app? If so, one could mute the TV feed. And play the radio feed over it.

I could turn on my radio, but it never seemed to be in sync with the TV action so I gave up on that.DIAMONDINTHEROUGH wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 22:39 pm Do the games still air on the Audacy app? If so, one could mute the TV feed. And play the radio feed over it.

The Audacy app feed I believe is on a delay. So it may sync up with your TV.Cardinals1964 wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 22:43 pmI could turn on my radio, but it never seemed to be in sync with the TV action so I gave up on that.DIAMONDINTHEROUGH wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 22:39 pm Do the games still air on the Audacy app? I just gave it a try. The Audacy app is about 10 seconds behind the tv action. But I can rewind the tv 10 seconds and make it work. Thanks.DIAMONDINTHEROUGH wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 22:46 pmThe Audacy app feed I believe is on a delay. Ha ha. You tried to be funny, and you succeeded! Much like Brad Thompson in my opinion.brucesutterHOF wrote: ↑27 Jul 2026 22:07 pmWell Mrs. Thompson and you would make 2 people due to his missing paycheck. Brad and Chip both fawning over Petey boy. Do these two jackasses not get it? Its bad enough listening to Chip talk about the Braves like he still calls their games.

I am starting to be able to tune his blabber out. Definitely one of the worst color guys in baseball. He should stay on Fredbirds show and wear the fredbirds hat.

Am amazing experience....I'm listening to the Cubs announcers and they actually leave spaces throughout the broadcast, so you can watch the game in a little silence. Take note Cardinals!!

I remember when Brad first got the job, it seemed like everyone on here thought he had the voice of an angel. lol I guess every honey moon comes to an end eventually. lol
I’m not as old as some of the old timers here (Mid 40’s) but I’ve always liked all the commentators. Miss Danny Mac, Jimmy Edmonds. Some people here must be easily agitated. Brad is high IQ and extremely quick witted it. A lot of High IQ guys like to joke around a lot. I guess that’s not everyone’s type. Chip is awesome, So are the twins! What a great family legacy.
Mike Shannon was the one I struggled with the most because he mumbled and would often be hard to understand as he got older but I liked him too.

Try listening to Ricky Horton on the radio. Thinks he’s getting paid by the word. Literally never stops talking.brucesutterHOF wrote: ↑26 Jul 2026 14:35 pm Is there any chance Chips’s son or Sweeney or Dani or Claiborne could replace him for 2027? Maybe Chip by himself like Vin Scully?
Seems like whoever his boss is has to know Thompson is terrible. Anytime he takes a day off the broadcast is instantly better.
He is perfect to help with the Fredbird crew and Chip seems to keep suggesting that he could join them. Thompson seems like he is up for it. Perfect match
