I prompted it with being GM, Scouting director war rooms and insisting on fair trades. But got a cool of block buster prospect hauls from the Dodgers and Phillies that I seemed unrealistic

This go round I prompted it as the Cardinals GM. Repeatedly had to tell it TJ be hard nosed snot try and please me. I was the Dodger GM.

This was the deal we settled on. Though any of those names the dodgers protected could have been substituted for Quintero.

Here Cardinals still have assets to trade elsewhere

Trade Summary
Los Angeles Dodgers Received:
Dustin May (Starting Pitcher - Major League impact & rotation stability)
JoJo Romero (Relief Pitcher - High-leverage late-inning stopper)
Iván Herrera (Catcher - Productive everyday bat and depth)

St. Louis Cardinals Received:
Eduardo Quintero (Elite center-field cornerstone prospect)
Christian Zazueta (High-floor right-handed pitching prospect with pristine command and a 60-grade fastball/changeup mix)

Why Each Team Made the Deal
The Dodgers' Perspective:
Facing a high-stakes championship window, Los Angeles needed immediate, cost-controlled major-league talent to solidify their pitching staff and bench for October. By parting with two high-upside prospects while strictly protecting their untouchable tier-one crown jewels (Zyhir Hope, Mike Sirota, Emil Morales, Jackson Ferris, and Marlon Nieves), they maximized their 2026 title odds without mortgaging their long-term future.

The Cardinals' Perspective:
Recognizing the value of trading players carrying team control during a transitional or competitive retooling phase, St. Louis successfully extracted elite future value. They secured an elite center-field foundational bat in Quintero and a high-floor, high-upside arm in Zazueta, restocking their system with elite talent without taking on the developmental variance of raw lower-minors lottery tickets.
Quintero and Condon OF starting in 2029 8O

and with Zazueta we'd be silly strong with RHP.
We are silly strong with LHP too. I could have gone for Ferris. The Dodgers are deep with pitching.

Morales and Harlan are the 3B options.

The Ardinals don't have to trade Herrera or Nootbaar

If any of these LLMs are GMing. Major league clubs, trade with them early and often. They are very fleecable.

No jobs stolen here. Just entertainment for dead times. Although I didn't listen to any know-it-all local media personalities today. Maybe those jobs are in danger. But soon all this will be behind a paywall. Enjoy while you can.

Messing with the Dodger Mekon one more time.

This time the Cardinals focused intently in prying Emil Morales (SS/ 3B) and Jackson Ferris (LHP). Instead of a Dodger OF prospect.

Morales is an international sign with a big middle of the order bat. Should move to 3B. 19 yrs old.

Ferris is a front of rotation starter struggling in his first stint at AAA.

The Cardinals offered May, Romero, and Herrera as before. The Dodger AI wanted more. An A-ball prospect flier. I pushed it away from Padilla, Odle, and Fajardo. Finally agreed to Deniel Ortiz as the add.

Dodgers get: May, Romero, Herrera, Ortiz
Cardinals get: Morales and Ferris.

That's what it took to get Morales. A much smaller deal was possible for Ferris featuring Jo Jo plus.

Ai is smarter than I thought. Have you ever tried putting in a CT posters name?

On the STLtoday Cardinals Talk forum, the poster who named themselves Juan Agosto is widely viewed as one of the board's most polarizing and relentlessly pessimistic figures. Because users on that forum frequently use player names as handles, his moniker is explicitly chosen to align with a cynical view of the team.
The general consensus regarding his presence on the board centers on a few distinct patterns:

Persistent Pessimism
* The "Doom and Gloom" Persona: He is categorized by other posters as a classic "doom and gloomer". His posts rarely find any silver linings, regardless of how well the team is performing on the field.
* Anti-Management Stance: A huge portion of his reputation is built on his constant, harsh criticism of the Cardinals' front office and ownership. He frequently posts about what he perceives as cheapness or incompetence in team building.

Community Reactions
* The Forum "Lightning Rod": He regularly derails threads or turns them into heated arguments. While some posters agree with his frustrations regarding the front office, many more view him as a troll who is exhausting to interact with.
* "Agosto-Baiting": He has been around long enough that his username alone provokes reactions. Other long-tenured posters will frequently call him out by name in unrelated threads, predicting exactly how he will spin a positive piece of news into a negative one.
* The Ignore List Regular: Due to his repetitive arguments and refusal to concede points to more optimistic fans, he is a frequent candidate for other users' "Ignore" filters on the STLToday Sports Forums.

But you claim to not read my posts.  However, I did find this amusing. Some even accurate. Except for other posters using the name to call me out in unrelated threads. Thats just more of your made up bullsh!t.

With all that said, why don't you go back to your nightly routine of washing your dentures and trying to remember where you are.

lol. Dance boy. Boring night. Want to see how badly you’re foaming from the mouth. A smart person would’ve put their own name in AI and see what it said instead of accusing somebody of writing a fake one. Dance my little unstable lunatic.

But he’s stuck in A+ because their AA OFers are Zyhir Hope (.891 OPS), George (.802 OPS), and De Paula (.931 OPS). And they are stuck there because their AAA OFers are Tibbs (.946 OPS), Ehrhard (.870 OPS), and Suwinski (.955 OPS…the one non prospect).
And not one of them will make the MLs with the Dodgers because they will keep signing Kyle Tuckers to ridiculous contracts...

The Dodgers want to trade OFers even more than the Cardinals want to trade a catcher. Will Smith is hurt so there is a fit.

The Dodgers can also package a few of these to get Skubal fr a couple of months playoff run. The Dodgers can do anything they want.

Shea Langoliers has a torn meniscus and will have season ending surgery.

Teams looking for catching are going to come to the Cardinals. This looks like the time to trade Herrera. If not that definitely Crooks.
