I would rather roll the dice on someone in Memphis than trot Svanson out to get hammered again.

Juan Agosto had a better ERA in '92 when we finally cut him (6.25)

I think it is best if I keep quiet......I was ready at different points this year to give up on Walker, Pallante, Leahy and Libby. You guys don't want this old guy running your club!

Are you sure that MORan would have cut Svanson?

He and FO did not like hurting people's feelings, well except the paying fans.

Yea people were saying why is pallante in the rotation he should have been non tendered and it wasn’t long ago the cards talk scouts were saying lehay is only a reliever and needs to be moved to the bullpen and the experiment ended. He doesn’t need to be dumped but should be sent down to get regular work he can’t be trusted in close games

Anybody’s guess how long they stick with Svanson?
Not defending his performance YTD....which has been lousy....but he was really good last season!
You could argue that he is the biggest disappointment of the season?
Well...then again there is Gorman! LOL

Before the season started some people praised him. Had high hopes for him. But people also thought our bullpen would be our strong point this year. As hard as it may be to believe, I guess some people were wrong.

I was extremely high on Svanson having a breakout year, I thought the rest of the pen would be a disaster. Svanson has been a complete disaster this year. With that said, I am fine with burying him in the minors this year, but it’s far too early to DFA him. Give him a clean year to see if he rebounds in 2027.

He should be in the pitching lab correcting his issues.

There were a lot of people saying that. Leahy never had a 7+ ERA. I always had hope for Leahy. The posters indicating Svanson should be sent down are correct. He has shown well before. Why he fell off a cliff, I have not idea. But, the results he showed last year indicate he is worth giving another shot to next year. But no longer this year.

Give him about 3-4 weeks in Memphis to get it together.

Ought to provide enough incentive living in the sweltering [shirt]hole
