BR has nados best WAR in 2022, along with his OPS+. Goldy won his only MVP with the Cards.

How horrible for both of those vets
Golds best OPS was 1.005 with Arizona.
Nado's was .962 with Colorado, also had a .959 year with the Rocks.
Nado's best OPS with the Cards was .891.

Oops, Golds had a 1.035 OPS with the Cards in his 2022 MVP year for the Cards.
I can only provide you with facts, I can't make you understand.
Fact, for the sample size of their careers while elsewhere compared to their stats while at St. Louis, both Golds and Nado had significantly lower OPS's while with the Cardinals as shown earlier. WAR considers defense, base running, etc. in addition to offense, so it isn't the best metric to use in how Busch Stadium factors with offense, which was the likely intent with this OP.
Both those players had plus power. It's possible the negative suppression for most RHH is even more at Busch. Regardless, I think an adjustment to make the home ballpark more fair comped to other MLB ballparks is a strong consideration.
so just ignore the stage of their career they are/were in?

And again, why lower the bar?

2025 park factors

Hitter’s edge: Coors Field, Citizens Bank Park, and loanDepot Park are best for HR-heavy players.

Pitcher’s edge: Progressive Field, T-Mobile Park, Comerica Park, and Kauffman Stadium are best for contact hitters and pitchers.

Neutral parks: Nationals Park, Daikin Park, and PNC Park are balanced for most players

here are park factors for 3 year average to 2026

Your point that both PG and NA had career years while in STL suggest that both spent part of their peak/prime years while with the Cards, which WAR suggest also.
You can also see once gone from STL, both have had some rebound with their careers.
So it comes down to opinion if the Cards should make any adjustments with their ballpark dimensions.
I think it's a reasonable consideration. Maybe you don't, but in either case, it's open for discussion.

Yes, they should put a billion dollars into adding a retractable roof. Then fans wouldn't have to sit in 115 degrees heat indexes to watch the bullpen (bleep) games away.

So heard Horton say during the broadcast the heat index was at 123 during the game. Was that the high for the day in STL?
Had 119 heat index here a couple hundred miles N. of STL.

I feel like I've heard or read in the past that ownership has considered it in the past.

I wouldn't change it.

Build your team to compensate for it. Busch saps right-handed power. So go get/draft/develop right handed hitters who smack the seams off the ball.

We all know the stories of how Herzog got a bunch of slap hitting, slick fielding track stars in the 80's. Turned the Busch turf into a pinball machine. I don't see why we can't do something similar.

So instead of drafting or acquiring contact hitters, go for moving the fences in for solo HR's. Let me guess, when the opposition comes to bat the walls are returned to today's current position.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

if they brought in the walls, they could add more seats.
more seats are needed to accommodate all the standing room only fans who would much rather sit than stand.

In the old days….both teams batted in the inning. Is that not the case any longer??

Texas Rangers’ old stadium had a right field with stacked grandstands with old school poles, similar to Tiger stadium or old Comisky. That would be cool to rebuild the left and right field sections to look like that. Which would essentially bring in the dimensions a bit
