Marv Levy was an assistant football coach way back in the 1950's at Country Day High School in Ladue just in case anybody is interested.

Making the playoffs all depends on what happens by trade deadline. If we sell, playoff hopes are over. No significant changes and our chances are as good as anybody trying for that third spot.

Being the 3rd Wild Card team should NEVER be the goal. If you are trying for that, you are a loser and wasting your time. We are rebuilding and have a great start with a nice group of young players. Stay the course and build a real WS competitor.
We need another top 5 draft pick to really top off the team,...so...go Cards and lose lots of games.

MLB allows less teams into its playoffs than any other American sport.

The NHL and NBA are the worst, where half the teams make the playoffs, rendering their regular seasons almost completely meaningless.
