First time I've seen Svanson pitch in a while

Strange year, I listen to audio of more games than I do video. It has been months since I've seen Svanson pitch, and his mechanics are atrocious, worse than I remember. He looked like he was rolling the ankle on his landing foot with every pitch. What the hell? There is no way you can pitch effectively if you're doing that. I don't get it. More importantly than wondering why he's on the team is why someone isn't coaching some basic mechanics.

Im not sure this staff coaches any mechanics. It seems their idea of coaching is:
1. Show analytic data on the ipad.
2. Be buddies with the players.

Probably because our pitching coach is awful. No experience, just a company man. Coaching in college does not make you an excellent choice for pitching coach. Coaching at college does make you a very cheap addition and that's where the DeWitt's are now. A little over a week until the trade deadline and I'm willing to bet the club does nothing to bolster its chances again this year. Just like the beer sales commercial: Cheap Cheap
