What would you change?JuanAgosto wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 15:59 pm So very little change to a lineup that mustered all of two piddly hits last night. OLI BALL !!!!!!
I would give the lefty-righty strategy a break. And I would not be putting a fatigued looking Herrera behind the plate. If it is a rebuild season, play the young catcher. After all, he had one of your two hits last night. And i just do not understand the infatuation with putting your most dangerous bat second. That guy should be third or cleanup. I was thinking the same thing I guess maybe he wants walker to get more at bats but I would still prefer walker hit clean up or third and would love to see blaze hit fifthJuanAgosto wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 16:20 pmI would give the lefty-righty strategy a break. Nootbaar started well in June, but his July has been rough (.172/.273/.259/.531)Chitownredbird wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 16:34 pmNootJuanAgosto wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 16:20 pmI would give the lefty-righty strategy a break. 2nd spot gives your best hitter more at bats. This is his third game batting 2nd all season
As it potentially gives a hitter more at bats which, most likely is one more, it also potentially gives a hitter fewer RBI chances.cosmo.kramer wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 17:04 pm2nd spot gives your best hitter more at bats. This is his third game batting 2nd all season
Just about the whole team is slumping in July incosmo.kramer wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 16:54 pmNootbaar started well in June, but his July has been rough (.172/.273/.259/.531)Chitownredbird wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 16:34 pmNootJuanAgosto wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 16:20 pmI would give the lefty-righty strategy a break. JJ has been swinging at a lot of first pitches lately especially leading off the game. Noot will look at pitches, LH hitting 2nd has always seemed advantageous to me and JJ is probably going to hit 2 or 3 for the majority of his career.cosmo.kramer wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 16:54 pmNootbaar started well in June, but his July has been rough (.172/.273/.259/.531)Chitownredbird wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 16:34 pmNootJuanAgosto wrote: ↑25 Jul 2026 16:20 pmI would give the lefty-righty strategy a break.
