Found it interesting to see how the Capitals saw the draft falling. It was more in line with how I wish the Blues would have gone.
Gustafsson first, then Lawrence or Suvanto.

Re: Caps Mock Draft
The Blues draft day decisions wreaked of DESPERATION to address the lack of Centers at every level in the organization. Dean was a failure. Dvorsky is failing to impress, Schenn was traded, and Suter is getting older.
This draft was universally considered very weak on CENTERS, and the Blues went all in on CENTERS.
The pom-pom squad will applaud that Army ADDRESSED THE PROBLEMS. Hockey Experts ask instead how the Blues got into this desperate state to begin with.

This post wreaks of desperation. Do you remember at the end of the season you were wrong about so many things and then we called you out on it and you apologized and admitted you were wrong... well here we go again. Tynan was a 17 year old playing for college.........he is going to tear it up this yeara smell of green grass wrote: ↑24 Jul 2026 08:06 am The Blues draft day decisions wreaked of DESPERATION to address the lack of Centers at every level in the organization.
