I can't believe he is 70-years-old.

I am with you there, as desperate as I am for a good player.

He was one of the most exciting players I ever saw! There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do on the ball field.
It’s such a shame how he just fell off a cliff.

Still hard to believe he is 70, and younger than I.

I was not a fan of the trade for Ozzie at first, that is how good he was on offense. Then I remembered how good Ozzie was in the field and he never dropped off much. Good trade.

Garry’s offense fell off a cliff in San Diego.

Better than a good trade. It was a brilliant trade.

Still find it funny that in the movie Stripes when they enter the strip club, there is a Terry Pendleton poster on the wall right when they walk in.

I was crushed when he was traded. At the time, was my favorite player

Yeah, I wrote Whitey, begging him not to trade Jump Steady, but, thankfully, he knew better than I.

I was at the game when he made the crude gesture to the crowd after they booed his lazy efforts…unacceptable behavior for those times. He had to go.

Same. I bought his baseball glove and everything. I’m glad I was wrong!
