Our first losing block was six. We went 29-21 first five blocks. We are 23-28 last five blocks.

We have six, count them six, 4 game losing streaks. That’s hard to believe with a decent staff. Six!

One 6 game winning streak. That’s our longest.

The pen hasn’t helped. I’d like to know how many games we lead or were tied after five innings.

Then how many times we gave up that lead in the final four. Too deep for me, but I’d bet after five is where we lose many games.

With you. ‘Dog. In 1960, when the Pirates won it all, their longest losing streak was four and they did that only once. Harry thought that a remarkable statistic. Here we are wit SIX already.

Talking of expansion, Branch Rickey had the best idea with the Continental League where there would be 3 8 team leagues competing for the WS.

22 is huge- but it probably was a purer way to determine the over all seasons bests.

I remember playing the rivals 19 each, Cant remember the number for other NL teams.

No interleague play. You played 18 games vs each of your five division opponents…9 home and 9 road…and 12 games each vs the 6 teams in the other division, 6 home and 6 road.

3-7 team is falling apart. Honestly trying to find 3 wins is hard. 1 each vs Reds, Cubs, and Jays maybe? I could see cubs sweeping though
