Spain will host the next World Cup in 2030, and Yamine Lamal will still just be 23 years old. What country will be able to challenge them?

France? Mbappe will be 31. Argentina or Portugal? Messi and Ronaldo are (probably) gone so who will replace them? Norway? Haaland will be 29 but will they find some players who will pass him the ball? England? Could have a legitimate shot. A lot can happen in 4 years.

Argentina
I'm really hoping this doesn't come to this (again). I don't think I can handle the Argentina goalie winning another PK shootout.
Martinez was playing with a broken finger throughout the tournament.

The better and more deserving team won. Argentina was gifted a lot in the past 5 weeks but in the end justice was served on and off the pitch

They are scary. Played this tournament without fermin lopez who is their best attacking midfielder. Makes Yamal such a bigger threat.

Not sure who can beat them.
Agreed, they have no glaring weakness.
Spain has exploited those weaknesses three times in a row now.

I wanted Spain to win, and I got what I wanted. That game easily could have been 4-0 or worse.

It won't be the U.S., that is for certain. Long way to go after that no-show vs. Belgium.

It turns out Spain were the ones with no glaring weaknesses. Hats off to them.

Don't confuse quantity with quality.

Spain had a xG of 1.56

A lot of shots but none that troubled Martinez all that much, despite the enthusiasm of John Strong

Yeah, but the chances to score were there. Too many of the shots were directly at Martinez.

Spain had 27 shots vs Cape Verde. Seven were on target. No goals
