Connor Bedard — $15M thru 2031
Frank Nazar — $6,599,991 thru 2033
Bowen Byram — $12.5M thru 2033 (contract begins in 2027-28)
Alex Vlasic — $4.6M thru 2030
Spencer Knight — $5,833,333 thru 2029
Roman Kantserov - $1.075M thru 2029

Nobody else in the system is going to get a massive payday anytime soon...
They be trying as hard as they can to change that and add players but still 15 million for Bedard is not a/the problem.

5 years is a long time.
The NHL may be doing much worse in 5 years.

In 5 years, we shall see who is better: Carlsson or Bedard. We will know if they both have earned the crazy contracts. Chicago has to start winning soon. Rebuild [nonsense] is over for them. It's past time.

Certainly not enough of a sure thing to turn down guaranteed 30 million for years 6 and 7 because you might make 40 million if you wait 5 years

Bedard must feel like hes gonna be a top 3 scorer in entire league. Betting on himself.
Hope hes not too fragile.

I get Fantilli is a center and a very good player.

I do not get the hype and "elite" mentions he gets.

Maybe he gets the 14 mil in this upward bound market but.....it's crazy in my mind.
