Blues - Building via the "DISCARD PILE"

Historically, the great NHL teams of the past have built their franchises via the NHL draft. Other moves supplemented the roster, but the core players acquired via the NHL DRAFT were the cornerstone, the face, and the LIFE of the franchise.

And then we have our St Louis Blues....

With each passing day, the value of the NHL draft to the Blues future decreases. At this point, BluesTalkers have been trained by Blues Management to NOT EVEN CARE what value we get from the NHL Draft.

Instead..... The Blues are building the future from the other team's discard piles. McTavish, McMichael, Broberg, Holloway were all NOT GOOD ENOUGH to crack and stay on the roster, but on the BLUES they will be our CORE.

Congrat's Sport's Fans. Welcome to long-term mediocrity--UNLESS OF COURSE--you believe that the Blues will be SUCCESSFUL in a way that NO OTHER FRANCHISE IN HISTORY HAS.

Maybe you should enjoy your life instead of tormenting Die Hard blues fans with this nonsense.#1 picks do not win championships. Teams do. Blues are a well run franchise. Everyone else sees it. And I'm tired of seeing every NHL city get NHL draft excitement--while St Louis gets nothing. I've been waiting for nearly 20 years. Let's strategize again when you have been seeing my B.S. for 20 years. At that point, we'll be somewhat tied in frustration.

Why is it that you seem to think that you are the only Blues fan? I've been a Blues fan since the early 70's when a neighbor took me to my 1st Blues game. I'm been excited EVERY season since for the chance to see the Blues win the Cup, but when they don't my world doesn't come to an end and I don't whine to the world how mean they were for not winning it MY WAY. You continue to cry that no one takes your posts serious, but refuse to realize that no one takes a moron serious that continues to post useless nonsense each and every day reminding everyone how the Blues don't follow YOUR rules of engagement.
