Re: Blues Will Play In Three Home Openers
well that's ugly and our home opener is the last of the 3. This is going to be an ugly schedule year isn't it?
(bleep) Florida with 5 home openers. 4 on the road to start the season including the west coast. That's brutal.

Edmonton and Vancouver have a back to back two days apart for each other's home opener. How would everyone opening up against a division rival with a back to back to start the season sound?

Preseason showing to be 4 games in 1 weeks time.
Blues really need to focus in camp and be ready for not just the openers.

Whys is matter? Are the rules diff in an opener? Do we have to play short handed?TheJackBurton wrote: ↑15 Jul 2026 11:36 am well that's ugly and our home opener is the last of the 3. This is going to be an ugly schedule year isn't it?

Really? Is this a serious question? Are they absolutely terrible, no, but to have to sit through the ponce and circumstance of multiple opening nights is very likely annoying for visiting teams as you warm up then sit on a bench for 30 minutes or more. One isn't too bad because every team has to have an opening night, but to do multiple of them? Yeah, I'm sure teams are just dying to go out multiple times in the beginning of the season and then spend hours just sitting on a bench waiting for games to start.Natl20 wrote: ↑15 Jul 2026 14:54 pmWhys is matter? Both teams have to sit through it whether it’s yours or not. Minn sat through ours last year and waxed us 5-1.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑15 Jul 2026 15:08 pmReally? Is this a serious question? Home openers as the road team are brutal - whoever plays against Carolina gets the widest b plug possible.

Didn't say they didn't have to, but to do it multiple times has to be a pain in the (donkey).netboy65 wrote: ↑15 Jul 2026 15:47 pmBoth teams have to sit through it whether it’s yours or not. Nope- training camp will NOT start in August. I would guess it will be no more than 2 weeks long, maybe a day or two longer, but that's about it.

Yes I'm sure the Florida Panthers are beyond excited to sit through 4 separate ceremonies of watching opposing players get introduced. I bet they've all been waiting for this exact schedule their entire lives.Natl20 wrote: ↑15 Jul 2026 20:22 pmI was gonna say I bet minny would sit thru 82 blues openers if it ended like it did everytimenetboy65 wrote: ↑15 Jul 2026 15:47 pmBoth teams have to sit through it whether it’s yours or not. Man what a tough life for them! Hope they survive? Will they still get their pre and post game catered meals?TheJackBurton wrote: ↑16 Jul 2026 01:29 amYes I'm sure the Florida Panthers are beyond excited to sit through 4 separate ceremonies of watching opposing players get introduced.
