Are they absolutely terrible, no, but to have to sit through the ponce and circumstance of multiple opening nights is very likely annoying for visiting teams as you warm up then sit on a bench for 30 minutes or more. One isn't too bad because every team has to have an opening night, but to do multiple of them? Yeah, I'm sure teams are just dying to go out multiple times in the beginning of the season and then spend hours just sitting on a bench waiting for games to start.

Nope- training camp will NOT start in August. I would guess it will be no more than 2 weeks long, maybe a day or two longer, but that's about it.
