Real head scratcher. There’s already too many forwards under contract and unfortunately Sunny is washed at this point.

Re: Sunny re-signed
Love Sunny but don’t understand this unless they have something going in shipping a few players out. It’s crowded enough as it is and Sunny doesn’t have a lot left in the tank

Re: Sunny re-signed
2 way deal means insurance in case of injuries and not taking a spot away from a youth trying to compete for a spot.
He must not be getting any offers on the market. He loves it here and it’s a low cost basically zero risk move for the Blues.
Not sure why this is bad at all.

But why?
Are they playing in the Champions League or something...?

Re: Sunny re-signed
They are doing him a solid and repaying loyalty. He can mentor in the minors, fill in for injuries or continue his career getting picked up on waivers.Don't mind it all. Says a lot about Steen in a good way.

With all the cap space... this 2-way is a nice gesture.

We found our second line center!
Seriously. It's a two-way deal. Nothing wrong with it. The Blues are his team and he'll be good in Springfield and can be called up if it's needed.

Can't see how this has anything to do with any other moves. Sunny just ripped his knee up again and who knows if he can even play again. I view this as a solid by the organization to Sunny.
Plus the Blues are a young team and they want the guy around the org.

Love it, Sunny gave a lot and didn't make that much, wouldn't bother me if it was for 8 years lol

Obviously, we’re shipping out Buch to Detroit for a 19 year old 6’-0” Russian LHD and a 2027 3rd Rounder…
