Talk about your bad timing. As much as I hate the Hawks, I honestly feel bad for him.

That's Bedardsky, the Russian with weak shoulders.

Seriously, this young man has taken a beating. Wish him well and a full recovery (no long term effects).

And selecting third overall in the 2027 NHL draft....the Chicago Blackhawks - you are on the clock.

He missed a couple of months getting hurt just taking a face off against Schenn. The term injury prone is starting to appear more often.

Hopefully he goes straight to whatever Tarasenko did on his last surgery and not his first two.

Sure, that works. Though, will that fit on a jersey with sagging shoulders?

Did you see the clip of Bedard getting hurt? He caught an edge by himself during some random team pratice.

I wonder if he makes it past 30 as a player. Shoulders are never as good after surgery as they were pre injury. Knees are a lot easier to fix. I hope I am wrong. He is a great player and fun to watch.

Wait, so he hurt his shoulder from the fall to the ice?

4 months, mid season return as he's a RFA and Carlsson just got offered that contract...

He's very frail

I know everyone cried when Schenn hurt him, Schenn barely touched him. I've seen rougher plays when my kid was in learn to play hockey.

This is going to be a real test of their front office's mettle.

How much do you pay a player with the durability of a can of Pringles and for how long?

You haven't won with him. Do you gauge the trade market when he comes back? I think you have to.

Talk about potentially being saddled with an albatross contract if they get anywhere near the Carlsson contract.
