Sweet. 4th thread all on the first page of this board, all linking back to the same Dave Pagnotta rumor.

They jumped the gun trading for Nurse.
They could have thrown Mintyukov an offer sheet.

They just might. The Sharks have been really aggressive and have easily experienced their most exciting few weeks in Franchise History. Now, they could extend that streak by robbing their division rival and setting the Ducks franchise back another decade…TheHighHat wrote: ↑03 Jul 2026 16:12 pmThey jumped the gun trading for Nurse.

Watching Anaheim dump Zegras last offseason, trade McTavish this offseason, and now bearing witness to Philly’s master stroke of revenge for the whole Gauthier debacle, has Anaheim staring back at square 1? At the very least, the Ducks will need to dramatically overpay Mintyukov just to keep the fanbase from rioting.
This is the kind of stuff that should scare any team tanking…

Can you explain why this is revenge against Anaheim.. Anaheim didn't force Gauthier to refuse to play for Philadelphia, they were just the team that had an asset Philadelphia wanted.BleedingBleu wrote: ↑03 Jul 2026 18:35 pmThey just might. Yeah I was wondering the same thing. It's not as if Verbeek reached out to him and told him to never play for Philly.Walter Sobchak00 wrote: ↑03 Jul 2026 18:39 pmCan you explain why this is revenge against Anaheim.. Why wouldn’t we be interested in Nikishin. Again, it’s all about the cost to acquire him.

The 2 guys at Blues Digest are saying the same thing.
I wonder if they are all just repeating each other or maybe Steeners not as tight lipped as Army was?
