Steve Ott can help the players with faceoffs. The guy was an absolute beast on the dot when he was playing. His work with Thomas on the dot seems to have worked wonders.

Speaking of faceoffs, a lot of folks are really set on Finley being great on the dot because of a roughly 20 game sample size where he was a handful of wins above 50%.

He still has a lot to prove.

You are correct. Definitely not at the NHL level.
His ceiling as a player now is in the AHL. Oh, somebody may call him up for a bit, he may have some flashes of brilliance, but cannot live in the past, life goes on... If we did not have room for Center Adam Gaudette, then we don't have room for him.

Looks to me like Suter is a potential odd man out and Dube could possibly make the team over Walker.

Why would we dress Finley over Suter? I'm not convinced that Finley even belongs in the NHL. He's Logan Brown 2.0 - let's end the experiment
