They won the cup having guys play as a team and buying into the coach's system. They also weren't trying to be something they weren't. They don't have the high end skill and speed to compete with the teams that drafted super stars. They have to approach it differently.

People seem to forget the cup team also had Maroon. He had some possession and offensive skill but a significant part of his value was his physical deterrence

This is the part that got me. I really like Army, but never could figure out why we could not add a deterrent to the team until now. Long time in-between Maroon and now. Schenner was game, but Schenner isn't what I would call any kind of deterrent. Good teams have at least one of these guys. Love the add. LGB

I been saying that for a long time also. These are a bunch of beta bishs that need an alpha dog. Hopefully they all play a lil bit bigger knowing someone else is there to take the heat.

Out of his entire time here, that's the one that didn't make any sense to me. Maroon was wanting a slight raise, and he deserved one, we had the space, so it made no sense.
