Your 2026-27 St Louis Blues?
Thomas, Holloway ,Buch, McT, McM, Suter, Neighbours, Dvorsky, Snuggy, Berggs, Stenberg, and Torop?
Broberg, Parayko, Carlo, Mailloux, Lindstein, Fowler?
Hofer, Binnington?
Looks better than last season if they go with those 12 forwards and them 6 D, and of course if they can stay healthy.

We might still have a move or two up our sleeve but it looks good overall:
Holloway - Thomas - Snuggerud
McMichael - McTavish - Buchnevich
Neighbours - Dvorsky - Berggren
Suter - Stenberg - Toropchenko
Broberg - Mailloux
Lindstein - Parayko
Fowler - Carlo
Hofer
Binnington
Extras: Walker and Tucker
Holloway - Thomas - Snuggerud
McMichael - McTavish - Buchnevich
Neighbours - Dvorsky - Berggren
Suter - Stenberg - Toropchenko
Broberg - Mailloux
Lindstein - Parayko
Fowler - Carlo
Hofer
Binnington
Extras: Walker and Tucker

Swap Buch and Berggren and I like it to start. I just really want some speed and creativity paired with McM and McT versus saddling them with Buch.DyadicEffect wrote: ↑30 Jun 2026 14:13 pm We might still have a move or two up our sleeve but it looks good overall:

And Neighbours/Buch had a bit of chemistry at times last year. Could help Dvo with his development.
Edit: And Suter/Finley would play center ahead of Stenberg, who is NOT a center.

Buch is fine where he’s at. He’s scored 30 before, multiple times, we have to see if he can get back to that. Putting him with talented linemates will help that cause. Berggren is a JAG, and 3rd line is about right for him.TruBlueFan_1970 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2026 14:19 pmSwap Buch and Berggren and I like it to start. We gonna see another player moved??

I’d prefer Berggren to be in the press box where he belongs, ready to fill in when a W gets injured.netboy65 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2026 14:36 pmBuch is fine where he’s at. Re: Your 2026-27 St Louis Blues?
I can see it going either way. Buch was demoted to 3rd line at the end of last season. Berggren had .44 ppg in 26 games last year. Maybe he’s JAG, maybe he’s a 40 point player? Either way, he’s faster and more creative than Buch, but less than him on the defensive side of the puck. I’d pair his speed with that of McMichael and try to generate more offense on this team to make up for losing Kyrou’s production. Monty loves him some Buch though, so we’ll see come October I guess.netboy65 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2026 14:36 pmBuch is fine where he’s at. Nobody seems to understand that Stenberg was on the third line last year and will remain there unless his game either elevates him to the second or drops him to the fourth. The brain trust love his play.

Not going to happen and I've said this before but Dvorsky needs a speedy skilled winger(s) who will forecheck.

Get to the matter with Buch and his line mates and stop moving him all over tarnation.netboy65 wrote: ↑30 Jun 2026 14:36 pmBuch is fine where he’s at. Re: Your 2026-27 St Louis Blues?
Not sure if better than last year as we have 7 of the 18 players who have less than 2 yrs of experience but we will give the youngsters plenty of opportunities to play. This will be a development year so we know where to spend big next year. Next year is a massive FA year so we need to get as much ice time as possible for McM, Dvorsky, Snuggs,Berggs Stenberg, Mailloux, and Lindstein. Right now all are expecting to take a major step up so after 82 games we should have a much better fell for who are long term cogs.smilinjoefission wrote: ↑30 Jun 2026 13:52 pm Thomas, Holloway ,Buch, McT, McM, Suter, Neighbours, Dvorsky, Snuggy, Berggs, Stenberg, and Torop?

Re: Your 2026-27 St Louis Blues?
Id be fine with everything as is except I'd be trying to sign Bjorckstrand as a RW option and I'd be putting Walker on waivers.
Thomas Holloway Snuggerud
McMichael McTavish Buch
Neighbours Dvorsky Bjorckstrand
Stenberg Finley Suter
Torp Berggren
That or I'm moving Stenberg for Bourque (which while I love that move I see it as pretty unlikely that Dallas moves Bourque to St Louis willingly). In this scenario Bjorckstrand wouldn't be involved. Bourque would play 3RW and Suter plays 4LW and Berggren 4RW and Torp and Walker are the extras.
Either of these options is an upgrade to what we have sitting here today.

Below is JR’s lineup prediction from the athletic. Looks like he agrees with me and thinks Suter is the 4C. So it’s definitely gonna be Finley lol.

Holloway/Thomas/Snugg
MM/Mac/Buch
JN/Dvo/?????
Toro/Finley/Walker
Broberg/Parayko
Fowler/Mails
Lindstein/Carlo
Suter out, right shot RW in, Stenberg starts in Springfield or possibly Suter and Stenberg traded for said RW.
I like Suter but its just not the best use of 4 million to have him on the 4th line while we are short on RW in the top 9. I also like Stenberg but again to much LW and not enough RW.
The moves we have made put us closer to a line up the fits so I'm hoping the opportunity presents itself to finish it up.
If not
Holloway/Thomas/Snugg
MM/Mac/Buch
Suter/Dvo/JN
Toro/Finley/Walker
Stenberg is 13 and in Springfield and is in the NHL as soon as the first forward injury occurs

I just hope the Blues are going to be fun to watch. The end of the season was fun but before that there were lots of sleepy games.
I remember a time when the Blues could lose a game and you’d still have a great time….
