2 minutes from a draw with Spain. Capo Verde is the smallest country in the Tournament. With a population of about 530,000, it's approximately 1% the population of Spain.
And it's over! 0-0.

Re: Capo Verde
I believe that Curacao is smaller with a population of 185,000 - but Cabo Verde certainly got the better result in the draw with Spain (Curacao lost to Germany 7-1). CB had a chance at a stunning game winner at the end but still got the point. Kudos to them. Who doesn't love a massive underdog finding success.

Re: Capo Verde
My mistake on population. Heck, I had to look it up to even know where it is. Sounds like a nice vacation spot. - mix of African and Portuguese cultures and cuisines, most everyone speaks English. And it's CaBo Verde (aka Cape Verde).

There's a lot of corruption in every World Cup - this reminds me of Argentina losing to Saudi Arabia during the last tournament. Checks were cashed - now people will throw money on Spain when the odds change.

Amazing what giving someone a fake peace prize can do.

Re: Capo Verde
It might be worth watching even though it was 0-0.
