May 28, 1960: Traded by the Pittsburgh Pirates with Ed Bauta to the St. Louis Cardinals for Dick Gray and Vinegar Bend Mizell.

Mizell was a 3/4 starter and Gray never played in the majors again. Buata was a back of the bullpen guy for a couple of years. What a steal by the Cards.
