Do we have an idea of what happens when you have an "NA" player brought up if you don't move them to your active roster? Are you just frozen from making any other waiver pick ups until you resolve the "NA" player situation.
For example, it looks like I may have Braxton Garrett being called up on Friday. But I'm not sure who or when I'm going to drop somebody to activate him. I don't know if Garrett is going to make one start and then get sent back down again, so I don't know if it is worth dropping somebody else just for that.

I don't know if Garrett is going to make one start and then get sent back down again, so I don't know if it is worth dropping somebody else just for that.

You’re frozen from making any transactions, but can still edit your roster. Looks like Garrett is staying in AAA, so it’s a non-issue. You could employ a “wait and see” method after his activation, and delay the decision to drop a player. If he was activated and then immediately sent back down, you could have let him float in your NA slot without dropping any players.mattmitchl44 wrote: ↑06 May 2026 09:59 am Do we have an idea of what happens when you have an "NA" player brought up if you don't move them to your active roster? It looks like you could move Seager to the IL and have two open bench spots. And you have Ozuna, which is like having another open bench spot.

Hits matter, and AVG is a category in this league. The $51 our current league leader just dropped on Arraez (topping 8 other bidders) might suggest he has value. Check your standing in AVG.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑24 May 2026 06:21 amHe doesn't do much in our point system.Quincy Varnish wrote: ↑24 May 2026 06:16 amYou dropped Arraez, why?Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑16 Mar 2026 09:48 amlol. I have enough of those, have fun with him. Since dumping him I've moved up two spots, to 10. Highest I've been since I had that awful draft. Note i had Bichette and Harris autopicked for me.Quincy Varnish wrote: ↑26 May 2026 05:54 amHits matter, and AVG is a category in this league. You trail the league in AVG… probably not enough of those. Also, Harris has been raking.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑26 May 2026 06:02 amI have enough of those, have fun with him. We basically ended up trading Nola for Arraez, with me spending $51 FAB and Alex spending $5 FAB in the process.Quincy Varnish wrote: ↑26 May 2026 05:54 amHits matter, and AVG is a category in this league. We should have just traded them straight up and saved the FAB $$$.
Arguably, being in the lead, Arraez may have more marginal value for me. There aren't so many adds that I can make that are a clear upgrade - but Arraez dropping Clemens I thought was a pretty clear one. And the $51 was a bit of a defensive bid to also keep him from potentially falling to Jeffrey, fever, etc.
Right now, I'm just hoping the Reds get their heads out of their butts and either promote or trade Noelvi Marte who is destroying AAA pitching (.374/.428/.588).

It’s still bizarre to just drop a guy ranked that highly in such a deep league. You could have traded him for something useful.Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑26 May 2026 06:02 amI have enough of those, have fun with him. Since dumping him I've moved up two spots, to 10. And, for a little more context - being exactly "on pace" right now in GP for batters would be 649 GP (assuming even distribution) and IP for pitchers would be 547 IP.
