Former Cards Stats

Post by HOUCARD »

Nice Summary. I don't regret one of the trades the new front office has made.

You're right that the trades were necessary. I really thought Arenado was done, finished, but he's having a very nice bounce-back season.

I don’t question the trades but hindsight makes me wonder how WC and Gray would be helping this playoff contending team.

If Boston stays in last place, they might be willing to trade them back.

Yep. I’m not sure I want them back bad enough to give up assets. If we hadn’t traded them Gray could really provide a good arm to rotation. It’s an expensive arm. And WC some leadership and effective bat at first. I don’t regret the trades but imagining what if. I say expensive but I think we are paying a big chunk of their salaries anyway if I remember correctly.

Talks of moving WillyCon to Texas. Grays been injured, Hurdy Gurdy has been injured, Nado is a below average field...his bat will fold. He crushed it at home...not so much away from AZ

He sure looked done early this season, too.

First 20 games: .205/.213/.342
24 games since: .338/.457/.581
