Simple fact of the matter is when MacKinnon has a team full of guys who can play it's not a fair fight.

This hasn't been a great year for the playoffs. There was just one game 7 in the first round. This series I'd hoped would go to a game 7 fizzled out. While the Vegas/Ducks series is entertaining you know whoever wins is going to get rolled in the third round. The Stanley Cup might be a good match-up with the Canes/Avs.

Nothing wrong there…Avalanche had to make Hughes a target. You do what you to do to win. Hughes was also holding Colton’s stick there…Colton ain’t gonna put up with that.

I was talking to a buddy of mine before the playoffs started and we were saying that Colorado just seemed to be on a mission this year. They played angry and hungry all year and it’s clearly carried over.Tony Palazzolo wrote: ↑14 May 2026 06:44 amThis hasn't been a great year for the playoffs. I do agree though that’s it’s made for a fairly underwhelming playoffs. The Buffalo story is fun but they clearly still need another player or two to be real contenders. No shade either…they’re very close but they aren’t Carolina and they certainly aren’t Colorado.
And my hatred for Vegas rivals my hatred for Detroit back in the 90s and early 2000s so I can’t even bring myself to watch a series they’re in.

Sorry, I meant the series. How do I properly summarize “this series.”Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑14 May 2026 07:08 amNothing wrong there…Avalanche had to make Hughes a target. You do what you to do to win. Hughes was also holding Colton’s stick there…Colton ain’t gonna put up with that.

I figured Colorado and Carolina all along.
The conference finals will likely be anticlimactic.

Both teams especially Buffalo turns the puck over a lot making for a lot of chances.

Right with you.
Not sure I can even watch Vegas/Colorado series.
So many unlikable players and the franchise/fan bases suck.
Go Ducks and Sabres Baby!

That answer is clearly stated above....it's more than enough for me.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑14 May 2026 07:40 amAside from Kroenke, which this town needs to grow up and get over, why is Colorado a bad Franchise?
And I'm past him........he's an A---hole......settled on that a long time ago.
Spare me what you think I need to do different.

Does it really matter. That's sports. It's more fun if you have teams to love/hate. But Kroenke is enough for me.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑14 May 2026 07:40 amAside from Kroenke, which this town needs to grow up and get over, why is Colorado a bad Franchise?

People can’t ask a perfectly legitimate question without someone getting their panties twisted
