The Golden Knights certainly got the new-coach boost after bringing on Torts. They finished the regular season 7-0-1, won their First Round Series over the Mammoth, and are currently leading their Second Round Series over the Ducks.
So, do they retain Tortorella, who has a history of overstating his welcome, or do they go after someone else this offseason?
Now that Chief has been cut free, do you think they’d go after him? Mitch Marner thrived with him behind the bench

Marner thrives with any coach..he’s a future HOF’er. Leafs made a major mistake letting him go.BleedingBleu wrote: ↑13 May 2026 10:41 am The Golden Knights certainly got the new-coach boost after bringing on Torts. I'd fully expect them to stick with Torts for their normal 2 years and then move onto the next guy.BleedingBleu wrote: ↑13 May 2026 10:41 am The Golden Knights certainly got the new-coach boost after bringing on Torts.
