This is a great look back in time. There was excitement about the additions, but no mention of Sundqvist, Maroon not on team yet and Binnington not on anyone's radar.

Two guys I miss are Siberian Tiger and RobbK. IIRC, ST used to provide updates on Tarasenko before he made it to North America.

I actually met hockeybob at training camp. He used to call in to Cam and Strick’s radio show all time. He was a little weird for sure.
There was also a guy that was a regular poster here for a long time….dont remember his screen name but his actual name was Trevor I believe. I was one of the proud #74 Jay McKee jersey wearers ..likely the only one lol, and one night at a Blues game, I’m standing at the urinal the guy next to me says…”you wouldn’t happen to post on a Blues forum and go by the name NHLTIM would ya?” He was a nice guy…don’t know if he’s still here posting or not.

I only ever saw HockeyBob once, and it was as I was arriving to the game a little late, in fact right after the anthem, and sure enough there he was in his hard hat.

I do miss the way this forum used to be. I enjoy most everyone on it now, but the chats were just more lively back then.

I do believe my favorite day on the forum was when Frivolousz (spelling) first posted a FTP thread in 2006 and I got to read Canuck fans meltdowns. I don't know that I've ever laughed so hard in my life. Before then I had never even heard of hockey futures.
