I remember when Jokinen played for the Blues for like a minute, someone took the gif and switched out the waffle for a giant toasted ravioli and I about died laughing.
LOL, that was one of my all-time fav's, along with Willy's Penguin slap...

Page wont open on Safari.
I got it to open on mine, but it was just the first page of the thread
Thanks for the heads up, probably just an iphone browser prob per usual then.

I did uplink from phone. Didn't know that mattered.

I copied and pasted the link to the forum and got over 700 entrees. That one was from 2010 and I can open threads up. On that one. But not on any of the other threads from 2015 and beyond. Just the name. But it would show who posted the topic and everyone on the forum at the time.

Pretty cool to look through some of the topics of the day.
Well sheeeet, now I feel like I’m missing out, ill have to open it on my puter at home later.

This is a great thread. Lots of nostalgia for sure. I've been coming to this forum, or some form of the PD forums, since 1999. Back when people had a hard time remembering the difference between Barret Jackman and Christian Backman (which was the defensive minded/offensive minded). I remember all of the names mentioned so far in this thread. RobbK,PleauMustGo, Battra, BillyP, the trolls; all of them. This place is not as nuts as it used to be for sure.

I never played growing up (Dad thought it was too expensive) but loved playing street hockey almost daily in the fall and winter months after school. I don't know the intricacies of the game like many on here, so I don't post much. But I love the Blues and learn a lot about the game and the team from all of you on here.

To all of you who post regularly now and over the years, I want to say thanks. I've been gone from the STL for almost 28 years and you all are my lifeline for Blues talk. Can't wait for things to pick up again in a few weeks with the draft and trades.

As always, Let's Go Blues.

P.S. These old sig pictures are outstanding!

I sure wondered what happened to RobbK too if he was the poster from Canada who traveled the world I thought. I was thinking he was in his 70’s a few years ago so he could be in his 80’s. Me and and few others are 70ish so I hope my name & others won’t be brought up on a thread like this!

It’s summer coming so we’ll prob get threads on our user names & maybe some oldies will surface
Yup, still here but haven't been posting as much as RL is keeping me away a bit.

STL in IA/MN is also lurking these halls.
I cited you, Pierre, and IA in my OP as I remembered you guys being around back then and might remember some of the old timers....you were the three guys who came to mind, as it turns out there's still a ton of others! Things get a little foggy over 20+ years...

Oh man, Olli eating waffles...that was an absolute classic

Same here brother. I've done some growing up, and learned a lot from folks here at the asylum.

I've been around here since 2010 and there was absolutely no way that guy had the self control to create a new screen name and not go right back into his same old schtick. Bleeds (theo) has been gone since before the Olympics.

I know others have said he and verson were the same guy, but I will go to my grave saying they weren't. Someone figured out who verson was because he posted and was kicked off of several forums and Facebook groups for the same exact act he had here. They found the facebook profile of a guy named Karl Stahnke and I swear to god it was the exact same rants on the guys page as he had on here. Whether it was about loving Jake Allen or hating Trump, the writing style and content were exactly the same. His love affair with Jake Allen was real unlike bleeder who chose "Jakin it" Allen to be the anti Brian Elliott. Bleeder had a way of picking a player to pump up so that a good portion of the board would automatically hate that player just because bleeds was pumping his tires. If you have facebook search "Karl Stahnke Jake Allen" and it'll be just like old times used to be around here. I believe the Karl dude died in 2019.
+1
I always thought they were two different people as well. The writing style and the way of trolling were different.

Yes, in the other forum hockey talk is discussed in a more factual way, but I like the asylum because of the better entertainment level

44donger/theo/bleedr always kept multiple screen names. he tried his shtick and was caught one year and retired a few of the lambs posting names he used. One of the standard procedures he does is he tries to put on an act for each screen name. I think it's why some have gotten more simple over time. Realized he couldn't keep it together and tried to simplify. its a bummer, he was posing as an edmonton native and a northern california native who was a lambs fan who wouldn't lambs colors to a raiders game in fear of getting stabbed. That's the last thing I remember about one of those alter ego's.

RIP to the goofy guy. I always appreciated his awful takes on who was bad at hockey or how Army and Chief were upset with a player. As soon as he would say that, they would get some huge boost and become all world. That stuff was hilarious.

Hate to say it, but it’s likely only a matter of time before he shows back up. Then he can take his licks about the canadiens [defecating] the Olympic bed.

Well now that the Oilers are doing Oil things, if we ever see someone on the board pick up the Montreal bandwagon, you will have a solid clue. These boards are dying. Would be strange for any poster to come popping on here who is a fan of any team not the blues outside of our resident blackhawk buffoon.
