It's an aging core.

Here's the interesting part. The core the Dodgers started this run with (Taylor, Muncy, Turner, Bellinger) seems forever ago. However, they were able to flip it by acquiring the next group. Will they be able to flip it again? Surely there will be another franchise face they can poach from another organization in the near future, right?

I still say they look something different than young swagger. Maybe these oldest teams look - professional -Ha.

absolutely there is a difference especially with the dodgers. they don't care or have to care about the regular season. they know they will be in the playoffs, and once to the playoffs every one of their pitchers "magically" becomes healthy and they are a steam roller. Long story short, the regular season for the dodgers is like the regular season for a half decent NBA team. they aren't worried about it because they will be in the playoffs. Then they start to care.

you are 100 percent correct about the pep in the step. Just ignore the wins and losses. Most of the dodgers are set financially for life. They blow out their elbow tomorrow and never play again, they never have to worry about the dollars.

Younger teams like the Cardinals, younger unproven players. They are still playing for their, and their families financial futures. It's beyond wins and losses in my opinion. Obviously they would prefer to win, but for the likes of Walker, Herrera, Burleson, Gorman etc, they are still playing to avoid having to become a used car salesmen at 35. Joking yes, but you get it

Yep. And in the vet you see a slower pace in all they do. Some of that is experience, some of that is privilege. Comes with the territory.
