He’ll hit. Just needs a little more time.Cardinals1964 wrote: ↑11 May 2026 05:11 amHe has scuffled his entire MLB career. He has 410 major league ABs. Hasn’t hit yet.CNYFan wrote: ↑11 May 2026 05:06 am Saggese is from the San Diego area.
He has hit his entire life until this year. the chance of a mean reversion is strong.
Thomas' Mother died when he was in high Scholl and he has, in a way, dedicated his career to her memory.
Really scuffling bad at this point. I am sure he is more disappointed than we are.
WTF does his dead mother have to do with anything. My Dad died. I still went to work and did my job.

He ran out of time and was being demoted until Urias got hurt. I do blame Marmol for starting a guy that was being demoted two days in a row.Cranny wrote: ↑11 May 2026 07:45 amHe’ll hit. Re: Left Field
Torres should have been getting run in LF for weeks now, with Church in CF. Torres earned the promotion, and with Noot on the mend it provided a great runway opportunity to take a look at Torres. With Torres's defensive flexibility and high OBP he is a logical bench piece moving forward if nothing else.

Is the FO or manager or both incompetent? It’s May 10th…..the team is playing well, winning, and require an effort every game to put out a competitive lineup.
C. Bloom is going to have to take JAGesse away (AAA and then toss him into any deal he makes midseason) from Oli who just can't seem to stop himself from playing this slug.

How about we give him ALL the time he needs back in AAA……starting in LF for the Cards hitting .150 and 1 for last 28 is NOT the place for him.Cranny wrote: ↑11 May 2026 07:45 amHe’ll hit. MLB isn’t a some development league to test out whether or not baseball players can actually hit.
This appear to be Oli and Blooms weak spot. So wrapped up in some exploratory rebuild they can’t see what is plainly sitting in the MLB dugout
A winning hungry young talented team that could use some supplementing not anchors dragging them down.

Bloom needs to be better than this…..running out clearing overmatched clearly nonproductive players for GOD knows why???? is not helping these other kids confidence with them knowing they’re losing winnable games.rockondlouie wrote: ↑11 May 2026 09:02 amPatheticGoldfan wrote: ↑10 May 2026 20:10 pm The St. Louis Cardinals elect to start a LFer……who isn’t an outfielder……who is hitting .150…..and is 1 for his last 28

First year on the job as POBO you don't want to get off on the wrong foot w/your Manager by removing players he likes and for some insane reason Oli loves him some JAGesse.Goldfan wrote: ↑11 May 2026 09:07 amBloom needs to be better than this…..running out clearing overmatched clearly nonproductive players for GOD knows why???? is not helping these other kids confidence with them knowing they’re losing winnable games.rockondlouie wrote: ↑11 May 2026 09:02 amPatheticGoldfan wrote: ↑10 May 2026 20:10 pm The St. Louis Cardinals elect to start a LFer……who isn’t an outfielder……who is hitting .150…..and is 1 for his last 28

But the guys a nothing, I've been calling him J.A.G now for two years.
He'll be gone once Urias is activated, his days here are numbered!

They're giving guys a runway and why would they bring up someone who needs to be playing just to send them back when Nootbar arrives. They have clearly spelled this out.
