This, is, in fact, Blaze Jordan... lol
Only thing he "blazes" is a path to the nearest hotdog vendor once the game is over.

Lol thats fine as long as he can hit. Burly looks like that but can hit. Saggs looks like he is in great shape and has a good diet can’t hit anything thoughblackinkbiz wrote: ↑10 May 2026 12:33 pm Just FYI, to give anyone who has yet to see Blaze Jordan play a heads-up on what to expect... He's not the crossover of Jordan Walker and VSII that you expect when you hear the name and see the .944 OPS.

I haven’t watched any of their minor league games.okcardfan wrote: ↑10 May 2026 12:24 pmWhy not? I mean, why have you never seen either play? No TV? Got a cell phone? Do you not realize that every minor league game is freely available every friggin day (except Mondays) thru the Bally Sports app?Cusecards wrote: ↑10 May 2026 11:49 am Can’t comment much on Blaze Jordan or Bryan Torres as I have never seen either play.
Torres is at least on the 40 man roster.
Bench needs an upgrade obviously.
Urias(next weekend?) & Nootbaar(end of month)
should both be upgrades.
Saggese & Prieto both figure to go down as a result.
Scott also could be a demotion candidate. Maybe Torres???
Or did you mean not seen in person?
It just sounded like a pretty lame excuse to use for not having any opinion on either player, that's all. Also begs the question, why haven't you watched them at all, if you're wondering what kind of player a kid is, and if you're a Cardinal fan?Cusecards wrote: ↑10 May 2026 13:32 pmI haven’t watched any of their minor league games.okcardfan wrote: ↑10 May 2026 12:24 pmWhy not? +1...who's the old fart who keeps telling everyone how great he's going to be?
Wasn’t an “excuse”. Considering the ratio of prospects that become busts, it's just not time-feasible to try and actually observe them in real time via games. Especially considering, this is baseball. 95% of the game a player is basically motionless.okcardfan wrote: ↑10 May 2026 13:50 pmIt just sounded like a pretty lame excuse to use for not having any opinion on either player, that's all. Unless I'm reading the reply chain incorrectly, I was taking your side of the argument.Cusecards wrote: ↑10 May 2026 15:02 pmWow...I understand getting criticized for posting a specific opinion.blackinkbiz wrote: ↑10 May 2026 14:12 pmConsidering the ratio of prospects that become busts, it's just not time-feasible to try and actually observe them in real time via games. That is after all what the forum is about.
But....I’ve never been criticized for NOT having an opinion on a subject. So am I still able to post if I DON’T watch these minor league games????![]()

I don't watch minor league games either. For me, it's because I don't have the time--nor the inclination, tbh.
