Sigh. I’ll just add you to my ever growing Foe list. I’m sure you’re at Social Security drawing age and yearn for 1980’s Norris division style hockey, but it’s time to let it go.
Add me too, before I add you first. Na na na na boo boo, stick your head in doo doo
Put me down as well.

Disagree on Kyrou - Blues can easily replace his 18 goals.
Constantly harping about a player’s down year stats while playing through a knee injury and ignoring the rest of a player’s career shows one to be a fool.

This is such a bull[shirt] take. You hate the guy, cool. There is no such thing as "addition by subtraction" when dealing with asset management. In 2024-25 the Blues had the 13th best offense in scoring, in 2025-26 they dropped to 24th. By fixating on replacing 18 goals, you completely ignore the other 18-20 you need just to get back where you were 2 years ago. Unless you're somebody, you have zero access to the room, training staff, coaching staff, scouts, medical staff, and the head coach and GM that sits and talks with this guy. They know a hell of a lot more about this situation than you do, so to throw around "Constantly making excuses for a player that has proven time and time again to disappear makes one a bigger fool" to some rando on a forum, while the entire team backs Kyrou kinda makes you look [ablution]-y. He's a 70 point player in this league who just had surgery, he has value. Please excuse me if I don't subscribe to the Asylum's views on players. This place doesn't have a great record when it comes to whipping boy's. Everybody hated Jaybo until they didn't.

Kyrou has hit 30+ goals and 70+ points the past 5 years. That's what you have to replace if you want to be a playoff team. If you trade JK for draft capital and sign a guy to get 18 goals, you're watching the lottery again.
You might want to stock up on tissues. The Blues are trading Kyrou this offseason. They will get a decent return but probably not great. Steen knows what a winning hockey player looks and acts like, and Kyrou is not it. He doesn’t like the player

I’ve yet to understand why the Devils would trade Nemec? Their RHD group is pretty old and his value is not of the draft position he was selected.

Granted, this guy thinks he’s worth Jack Hughes money… however they would be stupid to move him for anything less that Kyrou. I don’t see the Blues being punch drunk for a 6’-1” inconsistent RHD who is looking to get paid more than Broberg, when they could get by with a journeyman FA vet for the third line until Jiricek is called up in February

I would like to see about getting this kid out of New Jersey. He is a restricted F.A. This looks like a Doug Armstrong special. Has been up and down in his career so far, but another 22 year old right shooting d-man. I could see Armstrong either trying to sign him like Broberg or trying to work out a trade with the Devils.
That team like the Blues has talent but is just a mess. They recently fired their GM and hired a younger new GM who is looking to change their room.
A] would you// they trade him for Kyrou ? they are looking for top six scoring. ???
B] trade Pavel Buchnevich along with the # 15 pick for Nemec.

This way if they can make a trade they would get a young d-man ready to step into the line-up next year instead of drafting another kid we would not see for 3-4 years down the road.
Then with # 11 draft Ethan Belchetz // 6ft 5 power forward who can score but also plays a heavy game.
I would consider that a great draft if the Blues could pull it off.
Why would Kyrou approve a trade to New Jersey

Oooooh an insider. Ladies and Gentlemen, JEREMY RUTHERFORD!!!

Sorry if I'm not impressed by your confidence. I never said he wouldn't be traded, I said he has value. Army isn't giving away a 70 point player, full stop. If you ditch a guy, for less than he's worth because "He doesn't like the player" you're a [shirt] GM. Tarasenko called out the team publicly and stayed a Blue for years, he was coming off worse seasons than Kyrou's and was labled a "Cancer". He was held on to because they couldn't get value, when traded we got what he was worth at the deadline.

I don't give 2 [censored] about Kyrou, I hope they trade him because I'm sick of hearing the whining. I love your pompous little putdowns though, wonder how you handle being wrong. If you ask around, I have ZERO problems manning up.

zoiks wrote: 10 May 2026 08:45 am Due to his contract, Buchnevich has massively negative trade value, so the Devils would not entertain the option B trade offer for even a second.

A trade with Kyrou and Nemec as the main pieces is more realistic, but the Blues already have trouble scoring goals, and moving offense for defense in a trade would make that issue worse. I think if the Blues trade Kyrou, they need to get a center back in the trade, as the roster is currently short a middle 6 center.
We didnt second half. Healthy hollow snuggy and the addition are carbboneau. We wont have a problem.we kerp 11 and 15 picks at all cost draft a center and dman.

Maybe because he would be on the east coast, on a team that could be in contention sooner than later and playing on a line with Bratt and Hughes? I think this would be an ideal spot for him, unless he truly just loves St. Louis. I think he has just learned not to get on the fans bad side after the Berube fiasco, so the talk of him not wanting to leave here could just be posturing.

I read an article in the past 24 hours that New Jersey wants to stop trading draft picks for the guy that is going to put them over the top. They want draft picks. We have them and NHL quality prospects. We should be an ideal trade partner for a team like that.

I think a lot of you are overvaluing Simon Nemec. His perception around the league and views on his potential aren’t remotely what it was 2-3 years ago.

Kyrou and Ralph id probably do too, even tho Im kinda stoked at havin more physicality on the way on the backend. Im kinda stoked of talkin without much knowledge on what Nemec’s ultimate potential is tho.

I could see something happening around Kyrou for Nemec. I think Kyrou would waive for NJ as his brother is with Philly so he would be in close proximity to him, plus they are closer to contention than the Blues. NJ has Seamus Casey in the minors and has Pesce for 4 more years, Kovacevic for 4 more years and Hamilton for two more at $9M. Unless they find a taker for Hamilton they have 5 RD. Nemec supposedly wants a contract similar to Luke Hughes $9Mx5. I would include some low cost prospects at LD and W, if they needed to include someone like Mercer to make the cap work. Maybe they would also see value in swapping Markstrom with Binnington. Markstrom has an extra year left, but could still fit in with Hofer in a tandem.

I think Nemec could play top 4 minutes for the Blues and free them up to deal Parayko for a 2nd line center or to go after the 2nd overall pick. Nemec looked pretty good as a top pairing D for Slovakia at the Olympics. Running Nemec/Mailloux/Jiricek on the right side in the future would be pretty solid.
