Separately...count me as one of those who's also a little surprised that Seattle is banned. Could he be a little prickly sometimes, maybe? But in the grand scheme of things it seems a little excessive for him to be banned. Good poster, he's probably watching those Thunderbirds games and would have good insight.

Battra was perhaps the most congenial posters in here ever. I don’t think we aligned politically based on some of his posts, but he made his points if he disagreed with you in a very fair manner. And if you disagreed with him he responded in a very polite way as well. He knew his hockey. Always respected his posts. Glad to read he is doing well.

I actually hung out with Battra a few times, soccer games, river otters games, and we had lunch one day at Hobos in St. Peter’s . We were friends on Facebook but he stopped talking to me because of differing political views.

But, credit where credit is due, you've always been very knowledgeable about the Blues and have good insights. And I don't remember you ever rubbing It in our faces or trolling us because the Hawks were so successful.

I appreciate the respect. I’ve been a Blackhawk fan in St Louis that had access to Blues tickets because of my work, a friend in the Saviss club, and a gal I dated who's parents had club tickets through not so legal connections.

I was also at a game in the arena where Harold Scnepts went head first into the board without a helmet (of course) and it sounded like somebody threw a coconut against a brick wall. He was out
