Better options are on the farm. There’s no need to continue with players who shouldn’t be in MLB.
This team is beating the top of MLB. Make the moves.
Perhaps waiting on Noot….. But Scott shouldn’t be on this team
Complain all you want, but they are winning with Scott and Pages in the lineup. A team can't do much better than win their games.
why is a team that is not in first place, now a plenty good enough team that shouldnt replace players who need to be? First place, home field advantage playoff..no longer goals for some reason. Why should the development of players stop for some positions with non mlb players in a season dedicated to developing players. Its like hey got half the job done, lets stop.
Yeah, I don’t understand the mentality of defending an OF who is hitting .189……almost 1.5 months into season. Better options
But the “It’s good enough” crowd is what it is. I’m in the Jordan….Tiger camp……I will destroy you and tell you about it and move on to the next thing to conquer

My guess is the offense has been very solid and we have a lot of pitch-to-contact pitchers. So maybe they are prioritizing defense, for now.

Every team has.
Not every team, including the Cardinals.
There are only 5 teams in the Major Leagues with a better record than the Cardinals. When they start losing at a regular clip, then it will be time to make changes.

I'm usually the one complaining, but I like winning. I don't care if is 2 -1 or 6 - 0 it is still a win.
And perhaps there would be only 1 team with a better record if those spots were more robust. Again why stop attempting to improve?
My God you are off the deep end this morning. Just be thankful how well they are playing and winning with a team not many thought would be this good in early May. When the winning drops off, then make changes.
Hey Red....it’s not just this morning!
Won’t post when they WIN so he’s extra frustrated!
Good Lord the guy still mentions MO.
BTW....I think we’ve found a definite CT Forum “Dead Spot”? 😉
And he is super peeved about how well Walker is hitting. One of his dead spots isn't cooperating.
He fills the Whining Void on CT nicely though!
And now he’s got me using more emojis! 😳
This post is about a .189 hitting CF when there are better options
Either you’re content with the .189 hitting CF or you think the team can do better.
Being content in Pro Sports>>>>> LOSER
Look.....I had your appointment all lined up to meet with Bloom in his office but you didn’t set a date!
So give his assistant a call and set it up ASAP!!
The organization NEEDS you! We all need you!!
When you meet remember:
It’s ok to wear the Depends and bring your Ouija Board and Magic Eight Ball.
Not ok to have a Binky in your mouth and whine/cry/throw a temper tantrum.
I’m rooting for you PWM!
How do you know what has happed so far……isn’t because of me?
It might be!
All the more reason for you to meet with Bloom ASAP!!!!
Sincerely......and I know we don’t like each other....but try NOT to embarrass yourself in front of Bloom the way you do on CT on a daily basis! Keep it up PWM!
😳😂😢😉🤪👍🤡🤮❤️🙄😄🥺😅

JAGesse too

I'm not a big P. Pages fan either but to be fair he's in there for his defense.

Throwing out 32% of the runners who attempt to steal.

The only catchers in the majors who have a higher Fielding Run Value than Pages this season are Patrick Bailey (Giants) and Dillon Dingler (Tigers.) FanGraphs’ defensive rating for catchers puts Pages 5th among 52 big-league catchers that have caught at least 100 innings this season. Pages is in the 92nd percentile in the Statcast caught stealing above average metric; that means he’s better than 92 percent of major-league catchers at throwing out runners. ---per Bernie
I'd rather have a light hitting catcher that gets it done defensively than a CF that hits .190 and has no arm. The CF position needs to be addressed before we sorry about Pages. And what about the K king at third base?

I understand giving Scott some leash to START the season due to his speed and defense.
And the options for the OF have been limited:
Church & Waller looking good!
Herrera staying at C/DH for now.
I can’t comment on Torres as have only seen his stats.
My guess....Noot gets plenty of PT for May/July at least until the deadline?
If Noot is dealt we could see Baez then??

VSII time in CF is running this

Once Noot is activated, N. Church should be in CF most games.

Some in here have posted his defense is shaky but B. Jordan needs to be given a look.

Not sure why he wasn't recalled instead JAGesse. :?
