Better options are on the farm. There’s no need to continue with players who shouldn’t be in MLB.
This team is beating the top of MLB. Make the moves.
Perhaps waiting on Noot….. But Scott shouldn’t be on this team

Crooks
Torres

Let Baez continue to cook

If Torres bombs then Noot will be back soon

Well, he’s not a starter. But I agree I don’t understand why you keep these guys in the dugout through 5/9. Better options are available

Complain all you want, but they are winning with Scott and Pages in the lineup. A team can't do much better than win their games.

Do you think this is a playoff team with a chance of winning a playoff series this season?

Do you think Pages, Pozo, and Scott are pieces of the future Cards winning teams?

The Cards certainly have “holes”.
Actually all teams have holes for the most part.
So far they seem on the verge of filling some nicely.
We all knew the roster would be fluid for 2026 at least.
I am also anxious to see some of the other prospects looming in the Minors.
But I TRUST the FO to know WHEN the time is right to promote them!
I think their INSIGHT is much better than mine or anyone else here who has a view from their living room!

And you don’t have to have offensive production from every position. Especially key defensive positions.

Who knows? I just can't knock winning and they are beating some good teams with what they have. Time will play out and if changes need to are dictated to be made they will. I just can't understand some posts that are trying to find things to complain about.

The Padres' lineup has a lot of dead spots.

Yep, agreed! However, Church and Torres are hitting well enough to bring Vic’s roster spot into question. Oli loves to remind us how hard Vic works in the cage. Crooks is hitting well enough to bring Pages’/Pozo’s roster spot into question. These are some darn fine problems to have.

Hey, I get it if there are no options. There are options. Pages and Scott aren’t winning you games. Church can spell Scott defense.

I don’t see this as complaining. People can be fans, people can want to find ways to be better, people don’t always have to follow management protocol and ownership protocol.

I think in this instance, we have fans have accepted that this is a season with zero expectations to win and that we would see young players that could be core players of our future start to develop in front of our eyes. Thus, when we see players who we do not think will be part of that core, and there are players performing in the minor league system that could possibly be part of that core, it is natural that we would want to see them.

They are winning a great % than any of thought going into the season. Wait and complain when they start losing. Otherwise, be content to winning.
