Gorman to me is always looking in right field when he’s swinging. He also steps out when swinging instead of forward. I’m sure the coaches see this and must not think it’s a problem. Watch him next at bat and see if I’m wrong.

He starts hitting when he corrects his "stepping in the bucket," then he returns to form and struggles. They know it is a problem, it has been mentioned before, but old habits die hard.

Except Mel said Gorman is the most productive third baseman in baseball.

Certainly not in baseball, but he is the most productive, and best option for the Cardinals.
I'll take .225 if thats were he rides all year. A lot of "good" players in todays game are stuck in the .225 - .235 range

When you look at it that its just 5 or 6 base hits difference between .225 and .240, ill take the .225 if hes goung to add 25/80 to go with it.

For starters, Walker and Gorman are two different players. The performance of each is not at all related to the performance of the other. Secondly, Walker is making adjustments, today. Gorman is not making adjustments today. He still steps in the bucket and has poor pitch recognition. Gorman has lots of holes in his swing and doesn’t cover the strike zone very well. And he chases. Other than that, he’s a stud.

Plain as day. Same thing we’ve been posting on here about the last 2yrs. Edmonds pointed it out for a whole game…..
Been hitting like that his entire life…..can’t change.
