Im going to take this moment to pat myself on the back. I wasnt alone either. There were many who said that this team was going to be fun, exciting, and better than many thought. The energy that they play with is exciting, and that energy seems to be contagious on that team.

One thing I did not anticipate, is that now I honestly do expect them to win every time they take the field. Of course they wont, but I hope that I'm not wrong about it that often.

There are only 12 teams in all of baseball that are over .500. All 5 teams in the central and only 7 other teams in the other 5 divisions.

We will find out if this is sustainable but the season so far has been very enjoyable. You have to wonder if the Cardinals and Bloom will pivot some to give this team some help. For all of the good fortune, there are definite areas of need. Finding a RH hitting OFer, a 3B and you never have enough in the bullpen.

I’m sure the Cardinals were hopeful but I don’t think the Cardinals were expecting this much success. I hope Bloom and company are reevaluating our position and seriously considering some options that weren’t being considered before.

The more they start playining intradivisional games, the more losses obviously as one team loses each game. Out of the box, all these teams played other divisions predominately and rarely any head to head. They did great though vs. all the others.
