Listening on KMOX through mlb app
The Apple TV guys sure like the Padres.
their 22-15 record is better than our 22-15 record.
(several hours later)
not to mention their 22-16 record and our 23-15 record.

Here's an ATTABOY for Stanek.

The guy's taken a beating this season. Maybe he can build on this quick, easy inning.

Misioroswky struck out 11.

meanwhile, Cubs won their 10th in a row and Reds lost their 8th in a row.

San Fran is beating the Pirates 5-1 in the 9th.

I was unable to 'watch' the Cardinal game. I then heard that JJ Wetherholt hit a 'little league' inside the park grand slam single .
That should make all the national highlight shows. Wonder when the last time a major leaguer did that . Anyone ever see one at MLB level ?

He hasn’t given up a run in his last 4 innings I’m not jumping on board but at least he is having appearances where he isn’t a complete disaster

How did they rule only 1 rbi?
I'm guessing here...and they touched on it briefly on the broadcast, but I guess the O.S. said you can't assume the 2nd run scores from 2B if Tatis Jr fields it cleanly and makes the throw. But that opens up a can of worms to me....b/c you can't assume Tatis makes a good throw b/c the runner had rounded 3B and was going home.
I hope they challenge that ruling. Looks home cooked to me.
I'm with you there, HCF
It looks like they did challenge. He has 2 rbi's recorded on Game Log for last night.
