I'm guessing here...and they touched on it briefly on the broadcast, but I guess the O.S. said you can't assume the 2nd run scores from 2B if Tatis Jr fields it cleanly and makes the throw. But that opens up a can of worms to me....b/c you can't assume Tatis makes a good throw b/c the runner had rounded 3B and was going home.

I hope they challenge that ruling. Looks home cooked to me.

Funny thing, the box score has 6 earned runs. I know that follows since one cannot assume anyone would have been out 3 before the 6 runs, but, it's stupid not to assume 2 rbi's.
