I won't bother. I did watch the game last night on ESPN. That might have been as impressive as Riley has been in a save situation. He had plenty of rest and was hitting 100 with wicked movement.

Re: Apple TV only
Yeah it sucks. Those of us who live WAY out of STL and pay good money for MLBTV should be able to see all of these games in real time. It was fine when it was one or two games a year, but now it is significant percentage of the games where we have to wait for 90 mins after it ends to watch the archive. I live in BC, Canada. I understand that the Jays are "Canada's Team" so if the cards play the jays, it is blacked out. But now MLB considers BC to be in the M's blackout territory, so I could not watch the Seattle games until 90 minutes later. Getting frustrating. I used my apple tv one time trial up long ago....

Yes, Apple TV is a major bummer. I have DirecTv Extra innings but no Apple games allowed.
My wife knows my displeasure so has scratched
on her grocery shopping list too ! Lol

Re: Apple TV only
Baseball players are usually much bigger in real life than they appear on TV. O"Brien is listed at 6'4" 180 lbs, and even if he some smaller, to me he's a big guy.imetsatchelpaige wrote: ↑08 May 2026 10:04 amYou missed a very impressive, shutdown closer performance. For a small guy, O’Brien really runs it up. And it moves.
Satchel Paige
6-3, 180lb

Re: Apple TV only
Find it incomprehensible that in the previous 10 yrs (?) MLB packages worked extremely well.
This year involve ESPIN and it is pure FUBAR. Could not and cannot get simple answers so I dumped it all and wait till games show up on whatever channel for free or use MLB gameday. Started to receive the "new low price" messages. I will say thank you to ESPIN for saving me the $$$$.

Doesn't Apple offer this free? You just have to be willing to follow instructions, read closely, and then watch the game?
Didn't we go round and round about this last year? And the year before?
Anyways...I get Apple with my sub bundle with Xfinity. Peacock as an after thought, too. So I lucked out on the baseball part of that. I only wanted the Netflix part of the bundle.

We go through this all the time. And if you have Cardinals.TV, they tell you multiple times up front “subject to national exclusivity.”craviduce wrote: ↑08 May 2026 13:22 pm Doesn't Apple offer this free? You just have to be willing to follow instructions, read closely, and then watch the game?
