Is he getting time at center?Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑08 May 2026 07:31 am He was signed to a PTO, seems likes he’s made the most out of that PTO. Not sure what more they could ask from him. I’d like to see the Blues sign him to a deal.

Seems like he’s earned it…what more can you ask of him?Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑08 May 2026 08:08 amNo.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑08 May 2026 07:31 am He was signed to a PTO, seems likes he’s made the most out of that PTO. Re: Dube
They could do a lot worse. Sign him to a team friendly, short-term, one or two year deal and he can always be moved at a trade deadline.Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑08 May 2026 08:08 amNo.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑08 May 2026 07:31 am He was signed to a PTO, seems likes he’s made the most out of that PTO. Without a doubt and he offers exactly what we need at this point in time. Would suck to lose him to another organization when he’s right here in our backyard now. I’m sure he’s got a lot of support from Ott and his teammates right now.Barney Fife Lives wrote: ↑08 May 2026 08:18 am I would think that this time playing under Ott and along with some of our future players is ideal and that he has earned a 2nd chance.
Rollin - don't you believe in 2nd chances?

Curious.......is this due to his hockey ability or is it due to off ice stuff?Rollin' on the River wrote: ↑08 May 2026 08:08 amNo.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑08 May 2026 07:31 am He was signed to a PTO, seems likes he’s made the most out of that PTO. Re: Dube
I believe the team started the turnaround when he arrived. He’s been fantastic in the playoffs. He’s a Center which we desperately need.
He was very young, and I believe he was not even convicted, although there was certainly some bad behavior in bad choices.
I would ask that, and even some of the older players have his behavior has been and if it looks like he’s learned and grown up, give him a second chance.

On February 5, the London Police Service announced that Dubé had been charged with one count of sexual assault.[21] On July 24, 2025, Dubé was found not guilty of sexual assault after he was acquitted following the judge declaring that the evidence was not credible or reliable.
that being said, from what I've seen of the TBirds, he's been a very good player for them

Re: Dube
People are entitled to their opinions about him but in the real world he cannot be denied his rights. Legally, he's just as guilty as you are. The Blues can decide whether they want to give him a shot or not but if they don't some team likely will. If they think he can do what Suter does they might save $1 million.
