Thanks for the post.
What would it take to move up to 7?
Please, don't say Kyrou in the trade.
His value is low.

Re: Great read on Rudolph
Typical draft pick compensation would be pick 7 for picks 11 and a 2nd rounder. But the Blues don’t have their 2nd this year or next (2027 2nd went to Anaheim for Fowler) and I doubt Seattle would be too interested in waiting for our 2028 2nd. This would likely mean adding a player or prospect of around that value. I’d offer Kaskimaki but I bet they’d want one of Stenberg or Lindstein instead. Or maybe they’d be interested in either Fischer or Ralph? Seattle would seem to need defense more but hard to say.Francis Park Thug wrote: ↑07 May 2026 10:50 am Thanks for the post.

This of course would all be premised on the assumption Seattle would even be remotely interested in moving down. Odds are they won’t be.

11 + 31 would be good value for pick 7 tbh. It’s just a moot point unless Seattle wants to move down and teams rarely do. But it has happened enough that we have some historical precedence of what it’d likely take.Bubble4427 wrote: ↑07 May 2026 13:23 pmTo me, the Colorado 1st that we have qualifies as a 2nd....STL fan in MN wrote: ↑07 May 2026 12:04 pmTypical draft pick compensation would be pick 7 for picks 11 and a 2nd rounder. And most of us keep saying pick 31 but it’s really pick 31 at the worst. I was hoping the Wild would pull off the upset which would’ve made it pick 27 but that appears unlikely now. Assuming they beat the Wild, that pick will end up between 29-31.

I will be floored if it's not pick 30 or 31. I'm not 100% the Avs are going to lose a game before the SC Finals. Maybe MN gets one at home. I don't have a lot of confidence in Vegas or ANA giving the Avs any kind of series.STL fan in MN wrote: ↑07 May 2026 13:47 pm11 + 31 would be good value for pick 7 tbh. Unfortunately, I tend to agree. But this game is funny sometimes too. Really don’t want to see the Avs win the Cup but they’re the absolute favorite at this point IMO.George Zipp wrote: ↑07 May 2026 13:58 pmI will be floored if it's not pick 30 or 31. Was simply pointing out that that draft spot isn’t locked in like 11 and 15 are…but really, there’s not a huge difference in value between picks 28-31. A 4 pick difference between 1 and 5? Huge. A 4 pick difference between 28-31. Not nearly as much.

I’m not ready to declare the Avs the absolute favorite. Canes look every bit as good as the Avs do right now. Assuming this is the final it has a chance to be a hell of a series.

The Canes have been outstanding. There is always the possibility that their 3rd round demons come into play again (they’re 1-16 in the Conference Finals since they won the Cup in ‘06) but I don’t feel like they should have a problem with Montreal or Buffalo. Both have looked very uneven at times.BleedingBleu wrote: ↑08 May 2026 19:08 pmI thought I saw a statistic where it took 7 Games for the Hurricanes to trail in a game in these playoffs.dhsux wrote: ↑08 May 2026 17:29 pmDid you mean to say the Sabres?George Zipp wrote: ↑08 May 2026 15:52 pmTotally got what you were pointing out.STL fan in MN wrote: ↑07 May 2026 14:04 pmUnfortunately, I tend to agree. Would be nice to see Rudolph and the Raiders in the Memorial Cup but the longer his season goes, the more his stock will rise
